Forums - Sony - Uncharted 4 Multiplayer - anyone else played it?

First, I have to say that it's fairly rare that a MP shooter is in third person view. So, this game needs a thread because it is severely underrated and more people should experience it's greatness.

Personally I'm loving how they built on top of the load out system of Uncharted 3 with even crazier abilities - using mysticals or call in sidekicks, rope action. All those add to a lot of action during a match with a lot of funny situations. The dance taunts is an amazing idea.

Granted it does require a bit more skill than CoD but the gunplay is just so much fun. Should we have a VGChartz Uncharted 4 MP night?

I dont know if you are being sarcastic or not, but I personally love the U4 multiplayer. I dont think you really requiere much skill, as I dont think you requiere much skill in the COD multiplayers either, but I def. think its more fun. And yes, Mysticals actually are great, they can change the whole match. We dont talk about U4 enough in this forum.

It's an awesome experience. I love the dialogue at times.

Though sometimes the matchmaking is incredibly off. Had some matches that ended arouns 10-40

Annoying when it's a qualification match.

Tell me about it, mate. Sometimes in qualifiers there would be players having 2 KOs and 12 deaths. How did they match those teams up?

If it didn't require skills everyone would have a high number of deaths amd KOs per match. Not bragging but I'm usually the one with the highest down and KO in my team :D

Its good, certainly better than previous Uncharted PvP. I didn't stick with it though because I'd rather play Halo or Gears.

They dropped the ball by not adding a co-op mode like Horde.

I had a lot of fun with it. I was probably less enthused about it than UC2 multiplayer because that was new and I enjoyed the single player for that game much more (and spent much more time playing video games at the time). But I find the MP to be very underrated and have a perfect balance of being easy to grasp and tough to master.

I've had Uncharted 4 ever since launch day and played a lot of the multiplayer for a while, then stopped for a bit due to other games, but I have been playing the multiplayer a lot again recently over the past few days, mainly because of the release of some of the new multiplayer DLC these past few weeks.

It's a really great multiplayer, really fun to play. I fucking love seeing the return of some Uncharted 2 maps like Village. Wish it would chill the fuck out with the connection issue signs where it completely freezes your character though, i've had deaths caused because of it being the games fault for doing that. It doesn't happen nearly as much as it had problems with that during launch, but it still does happen every once in a while and I had one match like a week ago where it was unplayable due to it so I just left.

It's a very good multiplayer game with some very weird issues/omissions. I played for maybe 30-40 hours of it and then just stopped completely. I don't usually enjoy TPS multiplayer games, I play FPS ones a ton more (Rainbow 6 is the best multiplayer game in years)

Some issues I have with it:

The leaderboards were completely broken during the time I was playing it. It would not track your KD/WL/Time played etc properly. No idea if it's fixed but it was extremely annoying.

Limited game modes...I mean is it really that difficult to add some sort of FFA game mode? Or maybe a limited life type game mode? I mean really it was extremely bare bones when it came to the game modes. I play TDM 90% of the time but that other 10% when I want something else, Uncharted 4 had nothing for me except for some capture the relic type thing. Very dissapointing in that respect.

Other than that it was pretty good. I still enjoyed my time with it. I mainly got it for the single player though and the multi was just icing on the cake.

They added the Bounty Hunter mode recently. They've been doing a good job with the updates so far. I'm sure more will come.

Yeah I've seen they've added new maps/modes and guns but to be honest, I feel like it's a little late for me. I just don't see myself getting back into it.

Everytime I open my PS4 the Uncharted 4 image is just there waiting for me to press X...But I always end up going to Rainbow Six Siege.

And the times I do play Uncharted 4, I just end up playing a couple chapters of the singleplayer for my third playthrough of it. I love the singleplayer.
