Forums - Politics - A vote for Trump is indefensible

I'm quite happy with Trump, not as a president, but as the leader of the republican party. He is single-handedly destroying the entire republican party on every level. On a year they pretty much had a win in the basket and every level of government was at their beck and call.

To think that a single person could be so incompetent that he destroys such a powerhouse as the republican party. There are incompetent business men, and then there's Donald Trump. It's not even news that he's a horrible business man. This is the guy who brought down America's second football league (Yes the states used to have TWO football leagues until Trump.) Trump didn't even own it, he just owned a team, but convinced all the investors that they should compete directly with the other football league....

It's simply amazing what this man is capable of... Republicans, you need to keep supporting this man, no matter how many elections is costs you. He's the chosen one that will lead you all to whatever glorious fates you think await you in the end. :D C'mon, clearly you only lost because of Paul Ryan that no good backstabber. Oust the man and put Trump in his place!!!

It just dawned on me that this election cylce was a missed opportunity to have pro wrestling commentators covering the debates.

Same could be said for Hillary who is far worse.

You are so wrong, you are a prisioner of the democratic political correctness rhetoric. You dont see the 1 ton pile of corruption that hillary carry in her shoulders. Did you know about the hillary foundation? did you know about the emails leaked in wiki-leaks?  You even believe in the fact-checking bs that hillary is pulling! Man people are easily deceived by politicians. like Churchill once said:"The best argument agains democracy is a 10 minute talk whith the average voter".

Why couldn't you wankas voted for Bernie Sanders?

Now we're left with a lying scam artist Trump, and a crook Hillary. At least one of them has the intellect and the know how of politics, and the other is clueless, but still yall shoulda voted for Bernie. You damn wankas.

Many of Hillary's "scandals", upon scrutiny, are not scandals at all. They are often falsehoods fabrications, or over-exaggerations of the actual truth. The problem with her "scandals" is they are all much more complicated than your typical headline would lead you to believe, and anyone voting would have to read more than one or two sentences to actually understand them (which no one seems willing to do). So sensationalist articles and conservative media can cherry pick pieces of the story and freely fabricate their narrative. For example, "Clintons receive money while approving the sale of US Uranium to Russians" sure sounds bad in a headline! Except when you find out the majority of money she received was from Canadian businessmen who sold their shares long before Russians bought the company, and that 9 agencies of the government as well as private agencies had to approve the deal, and that the uranium mine in question produces less than 0.5% of the uranium in the world and can't even be exported from the US so none of it fucking matter in the first place. Many of her "scandals" work this way; they only sound bad when you leave out heaping piles of information.

This isn't to say Hillary hasn't been involved in some stupid shit or hasn't made mistakes, some with dire consequences. But she has been faced with far more difficult and complex situations regarding foreign affairs than every other person running for president combined. And sometimes those decisions have unintended side effects. But I would rather have someone who has faced these problems, worked with the leaders of the world (who respect her significantly more) to solve them, and learned from her mistakes, than someone who doesn't have a single damn thing on their resume that applies.

If you're not voting for Hillary because you don't agree with her policies, cool! That's fine. Do what you will. But if you're not voting for her because of all the conspiracy theory shit, then I ask that you do your own research with an open mind as I did. You'll likely find a lot of what you've been told is kind of bullshit.

We were going to, but the DNC wouldn't let unregistered voters vote during the primaries.

How dreadfully ironic.

Considering your username, its like backwards irony. I understand your opinion, but telling others that their vote is "indefensible" is pushing it a little bit.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Both of them are simply terrible. I shake my head at the whole situation. How do 2 people such as these make it this far into the election to become the next leader is simply ridiculous. As an Australian who has seen 5 prime ministers in the last 6 years though... I don't have much of a leg to lean on.

None of them would make it here though.

It's best to just let him ramble. He clearly has a bias, and no amount of arguing will convince him otherwise.
