Thats not true, reason why have endles NX threads are not "meetings" and investor calls informations, but fact that Nintendo is silent while people dont have patient.

Of Course, but Nintendo itself said they don't want to unveil NX too soon because competition, they said we are getting NX infos this year and Nintendo Canada rep said NX infos are coming in fall.

I think they will make their move this month.

We have endless NX threads because there needs to be a thread for every possible rumor, including every Nintendo Meeting and Investor call and other such thing.
That's fine I guess and is not a problem to me personally.

And it's a double-edge sword in regards to competition. Microsoft and Sony and the PC are locking in gamers with the long haul with subscriptions etc'. The longer Nintendo waits, the less gamers it will be able to entice.
But if Nintendo reveals to early, it gives away it's plans to it's competitors who will then be able to react more swiftly.

One thing is for sure, Nintendo needs to pull it's finger out, to finally put an end to all the rumors and release the device so we can see what we are dealing with. (The good and the bad.)

You cant call Nintendo Meeting and Investor call infos rumours, they are official informations (said directly by Nintendo) not rumours.

Well it seems that main focus of NX in not same crowd that are for PS4/XB1, it seems they are aiming at casuals, mobile users and kids, and Nintendo fans of course, but also some core gamers but they are not main focus. Regardless PS4/XB1 crowd IMO Nintendo will try to make NX like great choice for secondary console for PS4/XB1 owners.

Great minds think alike ;) And thanks! Skeletor is one of my favorite cartoon villains, so it was kinda cool to stumble across this picture; I couldn't resisit it!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I'm not calling the investor calls strictly "rumor". But when there is very little substance to go on, we might as well regard it as such as it can be misconstrued in a thousand different ways, try to keep it within that context.

Doesn't matter what segment the NX is targeting. They have competition in it... And those gamers are being locked into their respective platforms, casuals included.
If the NX wishes to position itself as a "Supplemental" gaming device that competes for gaming time with other devices, then it could flounder and alienate 3rd party developers, I hope it doesn't.
A competitive Nintendo that takes Microsoft, Sony, PC, Mobile etc' seriously would benefit the entire industry.
