I had forgotten for a while about the dick move to not allow cd audio format on PS4. But surely if Sony really wanted to allow people to play PS1 game on PS4 they would be able to, but if they can resell them as digital games we know they will preffer that.

I'll be honest though after all of the shite about the ps4 pro not having a 4k blu ray player.... I've at least put an audio CD into the PS4 to see if it would play (found a copy of Simpsons sing the blues in a thrift shop) But yeah I've yet to actually bother sticking a Blu Ray movie into the console, between youtube/netflix and WWE network streaming to it the idea of going off to get a single disc for one movie seems almost archaic to me now.

Well, I do like the image quality so a 4K disc would make me happy, but unfortunately they don't sell those in Brazil.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Aye there isn't a store in our town of 30,000 who sell UHD Blu Rays here either, most of us are happy with Blu Ray/DVD or the 100MBPS fiber line that is standard speed here now of our Internet connection so streaming is what most do for their entertainment.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Yep we are on the same page... unfortunatelly the streaming of Netflix have limited content and as far as I know 1080p disc would have a better image than the 4k streaming.

There's also the added benefit of being able to watch it when your internet goes down for absolutley no reason whatsoever.

That one is very good, even more when we get PSN having issues every now and then. And in Brazil several times my internet is cucko.

They should have announced an end date for PS3 support a while ago. Since PS4 users actually need PS+ to enjoy the full capacity of the system, they should have been a priority from pretty early on

But, this is precisely WHY PS4 is less of a priority.

PS3 owners CHOOSE to have PS+. PS4 owners pretty much MUST have PS+.
