Gravity Rush 2 director talks Raven DLC, series future, and next title.

Will there be a day-one patch?

Toyama: “While I don’t think a patch will be necessary, we won’t know about the online yet until we try it out.”

Regarding ‘The Ark of Time – Raven’s Choice’ DLC…

“It will depict what happens to ark left over at the end of the previous game and the children. At first we wanted to put it in the main story, but we decided to cut it since those who didn’t play the previous game wouldn’t understand it. Taking your time playing it will take about five hours.”

Regarding the future of Gravity Rush…

“It’s still a blank slate, but I feel like I’ve put my all into it this time, so if I make a sequel, I want it to be something new. For example, if there was new hardware that allows for a new way to express things, then I may want to make it.”

What are the plans for the next title from the Gravity Rush team?

“Since the team is in good condition, I want to continue to use the their merits for a new title. I haven’t thought about the new title at all yet, but I don’t think it will be significantly different from the direction I’ve taken so far. I think it will be of the action adventure genre.”

I was thinking that between Horizon and P5 I´d have enough time to maybe fit a smaller game, but then I remembered that GR2 dlc is coming march.
According to Toyama Raven´s dlc is like 5 hours. I think that will fit just fine between Horizon and P5.

Toky Xanadu coming to the west for both Vita and PS4 later this year.

There are 2 versions of this action rpg, vanilla for Vita(which releases in the summer) and EX+ for PS4(which releases in the Fall)

They have cool LEs too

Hmm seems the chances of getting a gravity rush 3 are unlikely and if there is some chance it's definitely not going to be on PS4. I guess it's good their not rinsing it for cash and making bad games.

Doom's single player is SO good. first couple of missions are meh, but then it gets better and better. level design is fantastic and gameplay is just fucking amazing. i hope we get Doom 5 soon. i reached Hell and finished the first level on there, it was awesome.
