Forums - Sony - Just finished Journey for the first time.

What a ride it was... I cant really put my finger on why, but it was fantastic. I was just about to try it before I was going to bed, I couldnt stop and played to the end.

A bit dissapointed though that I didnt get to play with another player.. not sure why I didnt get to do that.

What do you think of the game? Is there other games like it?

Maybe nobody else was playing, its also possible that you simply never ran into them but they were there.
Going into with no expectations back when it came out on PS3 was amazing, game is a genuine masterpiece.

Everybody talks about this mind blowing experience playing this game, my thoughts after playing it was "that's it?" . I frankly don't get it

Are you sure you didn't encounter another player? Sometimes you can miss the fact that they are another person since someone might be just powering along minding their own business, you might miss it at first but you can just have another person pass by you without a word or interference to your game.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I played through Journey about 20 times, great experience especially when you meet someone else. There are hidden places you can explore while boosting each other with continuous flight. Together with Dark Souls Journey is the game of the 7th generation for me.

Btw the edge of the screen glows a subtle white in the direction of another player if there's someone in the same area as you.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It tells me something about who you are.

Now play Thomas Was Alone. Trust me on this.

The PS5 Exists.

My second favourite game ever. Easily the most unique experience I've ever had. I'm glad to know that others felt the same way.

I don't think that everyone who plays it must love it or there is something wrong with them, but I do believe that some people just don't get it (I mean, I don't get the appeal of fps games when I play them, as they feel like a chore, but that's just me).
I also think that if you keep trying to find the exit in each level you're missing the point. I played it with two friends who hated it. They kept going: "where do I go now?". And I kept telling them "you're missing the point!".

I'll second Thomas Was Alone. How a game managed to make me care about a few coloured blocks with names I'll never know.
