Fate/Extella ‘Artoria Pendragon’ gameplay

The lone Saber.

Marvelous has released a single new short gameplay video of Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star focused on Artoria Pendragon.

If you missed it, previous videos focused on Archimedes, Medusa, Iskandar, Jeanne d’Arc, Cu Chulainn, Li Shuwen, Elizabeth Bathory, Gawain, Lu Bu Fengxian, Gilgamesh, Karna, Mumei, Attila, Nero Claudius, and Tamamo no Mae.

Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan on November 10, and in the west in early 2017.

The color schemes of those enemies reminded me of Cyrax.
Who's developing this game?

Anyone remember the PSP fate/extra game ?

Simple RPG but really cool combat mechanics, where you would sorta rock-paper-scissors with the enemy, and make use of perception to guess at attack types to use? and where as you got higher level vs target, and more combat experiance vs monster types you would "know" a few of the right moves to make?

Watching this leaves me abit sad, its nothing like the PSP game, which was kinda neat.

I missed out on this one, and I'm sorry that I did because it seems to be hard to obtain a physical copy in which I would prefer.

Marvelous, the Senran Kagura devs.

I only know Senran Kaguran from that beach game announced a few days ago. What kind of game is it?

^ That is why I commented like I did.

This is a bad downgrade in terms of combat & gameplay compaired to what the PSP Fate game was (imo).

This is what the game used to be:

Now its just another boreing (gameplay wise) musou type game.

There used to be clues you would hunt down, about the personality of the opponents, stuff that would give you a small advantage in the boss battles.

Even then, there was some tactics to it, where if you didnt think things through before you went to battle, you would lose (those bosses could be tough).

It was rewarding to find clues, learn about the game world, the boss's, finding the right methode, failing and then succedeing ect.

Now the gameplay just looks mindless.

Senran Kagura's main series is alot like Musou/Warriors,  they're action games with huge crowds of weak enemies and a few stronger ones that you have to beat on each level.

Hmm. What are the differences?
