I wouldn't have mind picking some of this up but I'm not a fan of card games that use rehashed images. Just feels lazy and less appealing.

I'd love to get my hands on these for collectionism purposes.

I'm more into board games and card games that are structured like board games.  But these cards do look pretty good.

What are the mechanics of the game?

Oh, so it`s not a new thing? It already exists with a shit tonne of cards and sales? Never even heard of it before.

Pretty cool idea actually, I wonder how the `game` part of it actually works though?

The game part doesn't matter, just look at the Pokemon TGC's success

I've pre ordered 36 booster packs already.

Heeeeey, i actually enjoy the simplicity of the Pokemon TCG. In fact I feel all these Ex-Megas and Break cards are just adding complexity to the game for the sake of complexity.

hmm I thought he was more referring to the Pokemon TCG becoming huge despite a lot of people not even knowing how the game actually works. I know from playing it as a kid (when it was huge) and playing it as an adult that nobody knew what the actual rules were back then and they just made it up as they went along.

This, the Pokemon TCG was never about how it was played (hell I still dont know how it works) it was all about the pretty cards.
I didnt care if my Arcanine was a good card or not, it was a fucking Arcanine and Arcanine is a badass.
