You really think Scorpio will launch in August no? If Scorpio is November Ps4 will have a 70m install base difference, that´s alot, this if Scorpio is a new gen, if Scorpio is just a Xbox One Pro then the install base should be around ~30m over Xbox One.

Fanboy me? hahah oh man dude i don´t give two shits about fanboys battles but i like to be as real as possible and being real is beggining to admit that this gen is over and we have a winner already.

Now if Scorpio is a full reset, it will have a >70m disadvantage by December 31st 2017.

NX will still have to deal with a 60m disadvantage if they launch around April but that will be aimed at another market.

Well when I check the news (at least here in The Netherlands) all its about is PSVR, lines for stores in Japan, releases of PSVR games and people talking about PSVR or showing it off in stores.

I think they ment that the PS4 (pro+normal+slim) will be over 70m by then.

No, you aren't reading it right:

Assuming PS4 will end at 55 million this year, that's would be 19.1 million sold in 2016. I don't see 2017 be bigger than that with Slim / Pro this holidays. Even if we assume it will sell 20 million, that's a total of 75 million by end of 2017, and i holestly think this is very optimist.

That said no, even with 75 million, really can't see NX only sells 5 million next year. 3DS first year shipped 15 million, 1/3 of that is just too low.
