Forums - Gaming - DSware, Wiiware, Eshop, myNintendo, clubNintendo, Nintendo ID, friendcodes etc why is Nintendo so confusing?

Is probably why I barely bothered going online on Nintendo systems for the past decade.

And then you got:

-having to buy Snes, GBA games twice if u wanna enjoy them on a WiiU and 3DS

-account locked to hardware

Seriously, it's so jarring coming from just having a PSN for all my Sony platforms, to the clusterfuck of the Nintendo online ecosystem.

Will the NX address this? Will they merge all their stuff, friend codes, cloud service, reward programs etc into 1 single central service like the PSN?

Around the Network

They really need something more simple and unified. Hopefully the shared library allows them to do just that. Oh, and if they could allow our 3DS/ WiiU digital purchases to work on the NX, that would be great too.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

It is ridiculous and that is why i have decided if the whole attached to the console thing continues with the NX i am not buying anything digitally on it.

Downloads locked to hardware is inexcusable, and friend codes are a pain in the butt. I think NX will emulate the PSN system so that digital games are linked to an account that carries across all systems, and a friend on console is immediately a friend on handheld. Oh and let's get some party chat going too!
