These threads are so pointless. There is nothing bluray alone can offer to Gears of War 2.
If they run out of space they will use 2 disks. Saturn, PS1, PS2, Gamecube and xbox 360 have all used multiple disks for single games. I don't recall anyone saying "Final fantasy 7 is such a good game but it would be so much better if it came on one disk."
Why does it need Blu Ray. If memory serves right the longest games this gen are on Wii and 360. What has PS3 got to show that BLu Ray = Better graphics + Longer game?

I really hate short games that are forced to be short because of DVD... Like Heavenly Sword, or Uncharted. Goddamn it, if they were on Blu-ray, they would have been at least 20 hours each with great multiplayer options for both.

I stated above, just because they have the space doesn't mean they are going to use it but it's nice to have the potential to make a massive game. Once again though, Resistance and Ratchet wouldn't be possible on the xbox simply because of Blu-ray. God I feel like a broken record.
You guys who played HS and beat it in 5hours must of ran through the game, and not enjoyed the greatness that was each level. The same thing goes for beating uncharted in 10 hours. I could do the same thing and beat Halo3 or CoD4 in about 3 hours, people can also beat bioshock in under 10hours and mass effect in under 15. But I like to take my time with games and explore each level, i can get atleast double the time on each game as you.
I remember some games on the PS1 having multiple cds so why the big deal over it on the 360 (for the games that need it)? Were Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, and Resident Evil 2 broken because of it?

linear games can be broken onto multiple discs with out many issue, however, open word games like GTA or racing/sports games simply can not be put onto multiple discs as they will break the flow of the game.
Also, games like lost odyssey (4 dvds) and Blue Dragon (3 dvds) clearly show how useful blu-ray's capacity can be when developers want to make games with allot of CG, because at the end of the day, no in game graphics will ever beat the IQ of CG cinematics.
