You're saying that Bethesda allows sex mods on consoles now? Since when?

I guess Debugging games is also coming part of the charm of PS4 since the have been so many broken games at launch. As for NMS PC version who cares?. My reply was to you saying Sony gamers dont want buggy mods but they are still happy with buggy games. Like i said its silly for Sony fans to be defending Sony on this. But who cares?, its you guys thats going to be missing out well XB owners will be enjoying great mods. So yeah you guys can be greatful for Sony preotecting ye from the big bad mod scene. |
How many PS4 games are broken? Even how many need to be debugged? If it doesn't work on a PS4, it doesn't work on any PS4. There's nothing to debug. With mods and pc, you have to be the one to do the debugging. But as I said, have fun doing that.

Pokoko was tlaking about the poteintal reason why mods aren't on PS4 was so that aprents would get mad at the mods. Like the nude skins adn stuff. I was like then this be happening to the PC version. Also, Bethesa blocking the nude mods on Xbox would be very hypocritcal.

Unnecessary, guys. Feel free to debate to your heart's content, but don't make sweeping generalizations. Try to understand why people think a certain way, rather than lumping several opinions together.

I'm sorry but I really don't understand where you're coming from. PC is an open environment, people can do what they want. No one is going to run a story about porn being on PC.
And, no, sex-type mods aren't allowed on Bethesda.net, which means they aren't avaliable for console.

Are you new to gaming? Like did you just start this year? That is the only way I can possibly believe you don't remember the disaster behind both those games. They had to cancel one of the MCC tournaments due to dugs. The game launched in November 11 2014, and they had to cancel a tournament in April 25 2015 because they STILL hadn't fixed all the issues. All these problems with a game.. that was just a remaster. |
I don't recall ever saying these games didn't have disastrous launches.
pokoko said:
If you're trying to tell me that the MCC and Nintendo's deal for an exclusive Sonic had no hype then you've just lost all credibility. |
Good news: that's not at all what I'm trying to say. I'm sure they had some hype but I recall No Man's Sky being very much hyped, winning all sorts of awards at E3, big praise from the press, people hyping it to hell, and Sony granting it an immense platform.
| pokoko said: That's a first-party release of one of the biggest franchises of all time and a game with an iconic character from a major publisher and yet you only have a problem with a single indie game that has bugs? Right. That really puts things in perspective. |
I'm sorry but at what point in time did I ever indicate I had no issue with broken games like Sonic Boon or Halo MCC?
| pokoko said: And why do you keep putting up mod overview videos? |
I want to show people there are numerous resources console players can use to scope out mods. This will help people hoping to mod their game avoid bad mods. This isn't very different than video game reviews that help the consumer avoid bad games.
Here's another one:
| pokoko said: Finally, if your position is that people should research something before they download it, why do you keep going on about NMS? |
I already answered this question. Allow me to copy-paste the answer I gave previously:
"Nothing really against NMS. It's just a counterexample to the argument that Sony rejected mods on Bethesda games because of quality issues. NMS had issues with crashing and yet Sony had no problem with it being released on the PS4 platform for $60."
| pokoko said: Rather than someone with an argument, you seem more like someone with an agenda who is trying to construct an argument out of nothing. There are plenty of solid arguments as to why Sony should allow mods but "well, they had a different game on their system and it had bugs so they can't care about quality anymore" is not one of them. |
Having choice is a very nice thing to have. By Sony not allowing mods on PS4 for Bethesda games, PS4 customers have lost the choice to implement mods if they wish to do so.
| Kerotan said: If they really care about their Playstation consumers of which have bought fallout 4 in their droves, they will release a ps4 pro patch. Now that I'd actually give a shit about. We'll see how for their players bethesda really are when the Pro launches. I still have faith in them. |
Considering how little issue Bethesda seemingly had with putting mods on XBox1, I think this denial of mods to PS4 customers has more to do with Sony and less to do with Bethesda.

Sony has a set of rules and regulations that Bethesda need to follow to get mods on to the PS4. Bethesda don't want to follow that.
Fine.
Done.
They're not compatible with each other. Beth don't want to adjust anything to work with Sony's existing structure and Sony don't want to alter their structure to accommodate the mods. End of story.
How anyone can blame one of them more than the other is baffling to me.

If Microsoft has no problem with Bethesda mods, why does Sony?

Does it really matter why they have different requirements? If it's true then Bethesda should play by their rules and if not just say that and move on.
It seems to me these two companies don't seem to like one another much.

Because Microsoft and Sony are different companies.
