Forums - Gaming - Have you ever done a very repetitive task, to unlock secrets in a game?

Things like "Play Something 100 times" or "use something 200 times". Right now I'm playing the same StarFox Match over and over again just to unlock the secret stages/Modes. In order to have unlockeverything I need 260 vs. matches, right now I have About 100. What about you guys?

Yep (SSBB) currently

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

Both Brawl and Assassin's Creed have that in the form of Trophies and Achievements.

Brawl, solely for Toon Link, who rocks!

Brawl right now, trying to get all the characters and worlds and trophies

Yep, running over 50,000 plus zombies in Dead Rising to be able to use the Mega Buster.

Yes. In many, many games, particular RPG's.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

FFX was the worst. Collect 100 creatures to unlock a weapons.

FF10, thunder plains, avoiding 200 lighting strikes consecutively, and just to get a part for tidus ultimate weapon, so satisfying when I finally got it.

It was for emo girls final weapon or Lion blue mage guy. Either way I know I didn't do it, and got Tidus' final weapon. I got it for like 10 people actually since no one but me could do the chocobo racing.
