Forums - Gaming - Should I buy Rockband game?? Advice Needed.

Anyway, I'm a proud owner of Guitar Hero 3 with 2 guitars, I am not very good at time, I can beat Medium mode but I have yet to dare to try hard mode.

Needless to say, I do enjoy the game, So I'm wondering, Should I buy Rockband the game?

I mean, I always wanted to try the drum, is it responsive enough for me to get it? Thanks.

 

P.S., yes, I do have 3 people who are willing to play it for me when I get it.

I don't see why not, it's supposed to be slightly easeir, plus it has some cool songs to play.

For which system? 360/PS3 I'd say yes, PS2/Wii, I'd say no. (No Online, No DLC)

I would highly recommend getting Rock Band, especially if you've got three friends willing to play. You'll have the time of you life. I agree with xBrawlx, make sure you get it for either 360 or PS3.

I have a PS3. I already know that my GH3 guitar won't play with it, that sucks, but I am alright with it.

Also, I'm not so hot about the songs, frankly, I don't know any songs on it. (born in late 80s, never really into older musics), so I am not sure if I can ever play the singing row.

I suppose what I'm trying to ask is. Will I have as much fun with the drum as I do with GH guitar?"

buy it. Best game of 2007 IMO. Doubly so if you have a group who wants to play.

Supposedly the GHIII controller does work with Rock Band now after an update, which might make your decision easier. If your friends are REALLY committed to playing, then it isn't a bad idea. Drums are really different, and not everyone who plays guitar likes drums, but if you stick with it, they are really fun. Singing is very fun as well.

The DLC on Rock Band is amazing too.

 Yeah, I was looking up wiki pages and there are a few songs I want to pick up from DLC. 


Drum is different in what way? Too frustrating to play? I never really played drums before, but always wanted to. I know this game won't make me a drummer or anything, but will it be fun?

Drumming is great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. If I were you I wouldn't think too much on it. You are an obvious candidate for the game.
