Emm not really true. This is the first metal gear, and it wasnt on nes.

I got it here and 2 MSX2s from back in the day , still the best console/pc ever made.     

I liked 3 better than 2 but 1 was the one that got me. My favorite in 2 was just the music and scenes.

MGS games have the best replayability value.
In original MGS on PSX, there were two endings and you could unlock two diffirent things you could use in next play. So err.... I finished the game about 10 times hoping I'll unlock something special, I was dissapointed, but I had fun playing the game.
Once, I played the game up to after 1st Sniper wolf battle, and I haven't noticed that I haven't saved since heliport, lol.


Also I played MGS3, it was litle hard because "omg, where in the hell is MINIMAP?! How I am supposed to know if there are any enemies or not?!". I beat the game somehow, 4 times.

I have yet to play MGS2 though. About MGS4, I don't know if I'll ever get PS3...but I would like to play that game.

I cant beat phsyco mantis!!

I only half 1 hp left, and I could only use the ration in the physco mantis battle, I cant beat him with less than half of my health its impossible.

I beat that game so many times. I unlocked the bandana and the stealth item.

I started in hard though.. its a very hard battle when you are fighting with half of your health.

Though how do you beat physco mantis with only half of your health and no rotations?

I really don't get the deal about MGS. I played the GC version and it thought it was "ok". Not boring, but not very fun either.
