Man, the Preying Mantis battle must have much less of an impact without rumble. :(

Which ending did you get?  Don't tell me you submitted to the torture. >_>

Tbh, i didn't find out that there was a different ending if you submitted until a good while after I beat the game.

As for MGS2, if you get confused with the story, just ask me. I have played through MGS2 a total of 159 times, so I know a thing or two about the story.

I know the story word for word from beginning to end. (Not Kidding)

Not satisfied with MGS's ending? Uh oh......

Anyway, MGS2 is enjoyable but the story gets kind of kooky near the end. Go into it with an open mind. Any negative feelings you get from part 2 will be corrected by part 3. By the time those credits roll on MGS3, you'll feel totally satisfied, and ready for MGS4.

Wtf is liquid immortal or something?

First he gets destroyed in a chopper, then he gets blown into nothing inside a metal gear, then I punch him to death and he falls into a bottom less pit of raging fire, and then he comes back and I shoot him over 200 times, his jeep flips and he fuckin stands up, and he dies from fox die.

No he is back as an arm..immmortal he is.

==> lol

Actually, I m not sure if there is a REAL explanation for this

BUT

There is a possible explanation that u can deduce from MGS3 story.

Just ask yourself a question about the Liquid's arm :

Is the Liquid's arm special ? or is Ocelot himself special ?
Which thing allows Liquid to be alive throught his arm ? the Liquid's arm itself ? or Ocelot ?

whatever, maybe we will learn the TRUTH in MGS4

(or MP me if u have it)

Ask this question again after playing MGS3.  And trust me, I have spoiled nothing!!

You should mention that that is YOUR opinion. Me and many others consider MGS3 the weakest in the series. It was straightfpward and contained the least amount of MGS's trademark philosophy and no background story for enemies. It was a diappointing game. MGS2  had the deepest plot in the series, but it requires you to actually think to understand it. MGS' plot wa weak, it was mildly entertaining, however it wasn't nearly as thought provoking as 2 or 1. BTW Ryan has  confirme that MG$'s story will fall cloer to 2's style of post modern storytelling using MGS3's presentation.
