You're splitting hairs as you have no justification saying how similar they are in any capacity.  But, if you're walking back your rebuttal, let's try this again.

I just wrote that part wrong.  What I meant to say was, 

"It's like if I said "I like fruits, but I hate peaches."  And you said " see, he likes fruits, so he must like peaches."  The point, which I clarified with the next example anyway, is that you're focusing on the first clause of the sentence, and essentially ignoring the second.

You're also changing the quote.  It does not say that they will visually be the same experience.  You added the word visually on your own.  It says the game will be the same experience, but (there's that key word) the graphics will be improved.   And, the word improved wasn't even used in the first place, that's another made up addition.  Here's what was actually said.

Improved is a reasonable inference, but it's important that the actual word used was different.  Different does not mean the same experience, it means the exact opposite of that.  I'm pretty sure you're not going to aruge that "different" means somehow means "same". Clearly, the implication was that the games were the same in other regards (sound, gameplay) but not visually.

So, fear not.  Your curse of being right has been broken.  Shattered actually.

It really just shows you don't know the difference between visuals, and visual experience; and roughly and absolutes. 

Well, I certainly know the difference between roughly and absolute... Problem is, you didn't use the word roughly.  To quote you "Visually they are going to be the same experience".

And the quote did not say anything about visual experience.  Just said experience.  You really like adding words to suit your needs.  And I'm expected to add words to what you said I guess O_o...

Statements don't just come from nowhere.

I didn't say the statement has no context.  I said we were not given the context.

You said there was a question that this was a response to.  Can you provide the question?

The sentence said what it said.  It said that the experience will be the same, except for the visuals.  You just keep adding imaginary context and words to try and justify yourself.
