I was also hesitating to buy Sticker Stars because of all the hate it got on VGChartz and other sites.
When the game came to Nintendo Selects I bought it and liked it.
It is not as big as TTYD or SPM and there are game mechanics that is a little bit annoying but overall it is a good game.

I think the Koopa's shadows might be extended to the Spike's (green thing) shadows. Since the enemies are 2D but those shadow effects are 3D... it looks like a mess

Horrible, Where is the subsurface scattering? And is not even 4k?? Who can be able to play with such terrible visuals in 2016, looks like a game boy color game!

Stop hating on nintendo please, there are maybe 4 or 5 games max on ps3 and xbox 360 that look better then this. Nintendo is about great gimmicks not great graphics. Look at the original zelda reveal for wii U, it looked good but they couldn't get the gimmick right for it so they changed the art style for something that would suit their gimmick better.

You are right, dam Nintendo stop making your games unplayable, real gamers need cutting edge phtorrealistic graphics, how is possible they don't realize about that? The worse part is their fucking tradition of making its games play like games, nobody wants games anymore, real gamers want hollywood blockbusters with some bits of gameplay in the middle, Nintendo stop being so out of touch!
