the game should be made in 2D like the new street fighter

MK 2 was the best in the series.

The factor that set it apart from other 2D fighters at the time was the gore and fatalities.

But I feel MK3 and onwards kinda tuned it down a level or 2 compared to how #2 was.

especially since over half the fatalities in #3 were just exploding bones bouncing across the screen.

MK is nothing like it used to be, i could care less if another one was made

No, your not, Mario Kart is far larger than mortal kombat these days......................

Last Mortal Kombat Game i played was the one on PSP, it sucked so hard i dont even remember the name.

I hate to break it to you but Mortal Kombat has always sucked. We were all just so entranced by the fatality and blood aspect that we didn't realize it. The fighting system in Mortal Kombat never really had any substance.

Actually when you think about it, the early Tekken games (PSX,PSONE) had a similar combat system.

Not really. I am not a Tekken fan by any means but at least the Tekken characters had a more unique moves per character. In MK each character was essentially the same outside of their special moves.
