No 4k blu-ray but "mass effect: unchartered in space trailer" looked great - higher res graphics makes games more fun right?

lol. 4K HDR is also useless for me. All I care is better aa, gfx affects, better texture filtering and no fps drops in 1080P mode

I'm just amused at the Nintendo Fans taking pot shots at the Pro because of this, when the WiiU doesn't even support DVD's xD

.... who seriously still buys movies on discs?

I dont even buy games on discs anymore.... but thats just me i guess.

I do. I don't buy digital content, so all of the albums, movies and games that I do buy are physical.

lol you still buy blue rays for your movies?

PS4 Pro is light years ahead in performance than the XO S and costs the same

:/ Xbox S is $100 cheaper and can play 4K blurays.

Gaming power-wise, yes sure PS4Pro is more powerful. But their library will be 93% identical and those games will run the same with minor differences in visuals. Likely zero difference if you haven't bought a 4K TV.

How much data can a 4K Blu Ray store? If it was more than 50GB I guess it could help with certain games (though I guess not since everything is installed these days).

I think it's 100 gb.

Thought I saw that somehwere recently. Not sure if there is a higher one, but I know 100 gb for sure.

Been looking at players sicne want one. Sadly only 3 options to choose from. A $400 samsung one, a $700 Panasonic and the Xbox One S at its various prices.

Was hoping to have a fourth choice today, but alas, it is not to be.

I hear the Xbox One S is the worst of the 3 in terms of speed. Takes slightly longer to load or something, but I feel safer with it being supported longer than a stand alone Samsung player. Plus $100 cheaper. And I could get games if I want. Not sure what games are coming out I want though. Might try FF15 when it's price goes down. Is that coming to PC?

I think only other game coming out I want to try is Horizon, so upset the PS4 Pro doesn't support. That way I would have been able to get both games for sure.

I do espically since there is no real reason for me to go digital when Blu Ray quality is way better then stream quality and most Blu Rays include a digital code anyway.

I don't own any blu ray movie as far as im aware.

How does Super Mario Run being a bigger headline than anything in Sony's presentation amuse you?

Yea, I am gonna have to actually think about which one to get now... Before it makes sense just to get the Neo. Now, I will actually have to see how much differences the extra horse power makes and whether or not its worth the extra $100.

Oh my.... so even at 1080p PS4p will run games identically to an XB1s? We must have watched different conferences.

But pls continue.
