My current top 10 is
1. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
2. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
3. Pokemon Emerald
4. Fire Emblem Awakening
5. Assassin’s Creed II
6. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
7. Pokemon Crystal
8. Civilization V
9. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky
10. Super Mario 64
I kind of doubt that any currently announced game, but there are a few that have a chance, in order of likelihood:
1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: This is pretty much the only game I think has a legitimate chance of getting into my top 10. Everything I have seen so far from the game, I have loved and I'm a pretty huge fan of the Zelda franchise, so I can see this one getting in.
2. Persona 5: I've played and enjoyed Persona 3 and 4, but they weren't top 10 material, but this game just is looking to be the most stylish game I have ever seen. Characters, gameplay, and art style are looking to be great to me.
3. Dragon Quest VIII(3DS): I'm a pretty new fan of the Dragon Quest series, but so far from what I have played, I have loved. No Dragon Quest game I have played has been top 10 material for me, but from what I have seen, most people claim this to be the best in the series, so if I agree, this might be in there.
4. Dragon Quest Builders: This game looks to be Minecraft with all of Dragon Quest's charm. I love Minecraft with it currently sitting at number 13 on my list, which is just outside the top 10. I am also a Dragon Quest fan, so this combination seems pretty great. The one thing that makes it pretty obvious to me that this won't be in my top 10 is that there is no multiplayer. Multiplayer is one of the biggest reasons I like Minecraft so much, so without it, I don't think this game will be nearly as enjoyable.
5. Pokemon Sun/Moon: I am a huge Pokemon fan and have probably played more Pokemon than all other games combined, but I haven't really enjoyed the direction many of the recent games have gone. I love what they have done with multiplayer, but I haven't been a fan of the recent games' single player campaigns. Pokemon XY made me lose a lot of faith in Game Freak with how mediocre they made that game, while Pokemon ORAS made me lose even more faith by making a remake that was inferior to Emerald in most ways. Sun/Moon is definitely looking to be an improvement over gen 6, but I don't think it will bring the series to its former glory.
I'm pretty sure every other game has no chance of coming close to my top 10. Maybe Dragon Quest XI, but I need a localization confirmation and more details on the game. Red Dead Redemption 2 may be another when it finally gets announced, since Red Dead Redemption is my number 11.
