Lol  the PS4 Pro is already "sold Out" on Amazon JP lol(still slaying in other japanese online stores). And it is still first on other major Amazon(Uk, Germany....).

Look like only internet don't want a ps4 pro lol

Edit: Also "sold out" on Rakuten store lol (~10.000 Yen higher than starting price)

What is the percentage of 4k TV in Japan ?

I don't realy know but Asian countries like korea and japan used to have a bigger adoption of new tv technologie and content( like video clip, tv shows in 1080P and stuff that were already there before it comes to the west)

I think it is difficult to know who will win sept-Oct NPD precisely Oct. M$ might still come with their crazy deals at the end of the month and steal the win to sony; Or too much poeple might wait for the pro and it affects PS4s sales

I don't know. Halo 5 barely secured the last October win and it's a much bigger franchise. Beyond that, it didn't have to go up against, not one, but two new PS4 models.

To be fair, only one of those models will affect October. Still, I think it will be somewhat close, but the PS4 is going to win Oct. It'll be the first full month of a $299 PS4. Sony will be ramping up advertising as we start getting closer to the holidays and will most likely have more bundles for every taste. Hope they put out a Knack/R&C bundle for younger kids. VR could also cause a slight boost.

Now, November is going to be a bloodbath. Even if MS slightly wins Sept and Oct, November is going to make up for every XBO win this year. We'll have the COD marketing + bundles and the strong possibility of a $249 BF SKU, which will fly off shelves. More importantly, we have the Pro launch, which obviously is going to be bringing in 250K+ all by itself, with 500K+ being likely if preorders keep up like they have, and 750K+ not being impossible. Wouldn't be at all surprised if the PS4 pulls off 1.8M+ in Nov, with XBO probably repeating last year's 1.3M, possibly slightly less.

I think that last year  Halo's launch made the Xbox One outsell the PS4 by over 40k. If the Xbox One wins October I don't think that it will be by that much.

Those were joke posts.

I must be getting too old for this. I've never seen anyone argue that much about his joke posts

xl-klaudkil:
Never expected xboxone beating the ps4 soo easy.

This coule be a turn around for xbox one in the states

CGI-quality:
Well, one should consider the PS4 Slim and NEO before jumping to any solid conclusions.

xl-klaudkil:
Well if the ps4 slim is just  500gb with noo optical audio noo 4k blu ray @300dollara

Dont see why xbox  one cant easily beat that

CGI-quality:
Because it hasn't "easily" beaten the PS4 all gen. It just saw a release of a slimmer version (something its competitor has not). I'm just saying that you should consider everything before making that judgment (something you do in these threads).

When both systems have released and the dust has settled, then it makes sense to assume what you're assuming.

xl-klaudkil:
I just mean that @300 dollar ps4 slim vs the better 300 dollars xboxone slim.

Same price but one had 4k.

CGI-quality:
Doesn't really change much. Let some time pass.

The point remains. Last year had a different set of factors that favored Xbox. So, it's not about being "fair/unfair", but realistic.

Yes, but you were quoting someone talking about XBO winning Oct and saying it had two new models to compete with. I was just saying that to be fair to his argument, in Oct the XBO will only have to compete with one of those models. If anything, the 2nd model may affect the Slim's sales a bit. Though, I doubt the $299 PS4 price on all SKUs won't be able to overcome that.
