And I'm saying: Yeah. Wii's size is also impressive but it's silly to compare it with PS4/XB1. It has 61 gigaflops for crying out loud (PS4 has 1840 gigaflops).

"I don't think Wii is very small, PS2 Slim is what I think is very small." You see how silly that comparison is?

Since the Vita was brought up only to be dismissed, now I'm curious as to which has more processing power: the Wii or the Vita?

My guess would be the Vita.

I can't remember how many gigaflops Vita's CPU performs but its GPU performs 51.2 gigaflops. The CPU and GPU in Wii perform a combined 61 gigaflops.

Though, you're probably right considering that PS3's CPU performs 230 gigaflops (its GPU 192) and Xbox 360's CPU performs 115 gigaflops (its GPU 240).

Hard to guess because the Vita also has a quite slow CPU but the GPU could turn out to be a bit better.

Bold: The final revision of PS2 (PS2 Slim that launched 4 years after the original) is smaller than the final revision of Wii (Wii Mini that launched 6 years after the original). But this is not even relevant to my point. It was just an example of how silly it is to compare sizes of consoles that are so different. It's like saying "PSTV isn't small. Just look at my Tamagotchi." (no that's not a reference to my dick)

Regarding the rest: What?

Here. See SWORDF1SH's post. He's better at explaining my point than I am

So revision of PS2 is smaller than OG Wii, so what!? PS4 Slim is smaller than OG PS2.

Like I wrote, I didn't talk at all about power, I talk just about size, regardles PS4 power I dont think PS4 is "very small". Yes PS4 is lotsa smaller than OG XB1 even it has stronger hardware and integral power, but again I dont consider PS4 "very small" despite power, for me Wii is very small power a side.

And that's totally fair. I also think that Wii and Wii U are impressively compact.

I initially just tried to explain why I personally thought many people were surprised that they managed a 40% size reduction. Given the tech inside the PS4 I personally didn't think that they'd already be able to make it 40% smaller without removing things suchs as the internal power supply, the blu ray drive or the hard drive.

No worries man

Just to add that Slim is for most likely day one, just I hope it's noticeable quieter than regular PS4, I relly dont like loudble consoles.

Regular PS4 hasn't been noisy since 2015 due to 3 changes in the CUH-1200 model (see below) so I don't think PS4 Slim will be noisy either.

1 The cooling system has been changed in the metal frame’s geometry.
The metallic shield for the heat sink has been changed from aluminum to steel.
3 The heat sink lost the heat pipe crossing the aluminum fins from the base plate, and is now integrated in the plate itself.

I still see comments that people having problems even with CUH-1200 model.

Where you got those inofs, are about Slim!?

1) Yes the PS2 slim was insane, crazy how much they managed to shrink that.

2) The guy that leaked the PS4 slim photos, someone actually asked him about noise, on twitter, and he said its less noisy.

But when will it be portable?

It already is, you can easily take it anywere.

Those 3 infos aren't about the Slim but about the CUH-1200 model.

No need to worry about the fan in PS4 Slim either as it seems to be very quite: http://www.dualshockers.com/2016/08/30/ps4-slim-new-video-lets-you-hear-or-not-sonys-new-consoles-quiet-fan-in-action/
