So a 2200 reais console is cheaper than a 350 dollars console?Where the hell are you taking this from?Even if you convert dollars in reais and vice versa, its still more expensive, and when speaking about economics, thats wrong to do!The only place videogames are cheaper or more acessible in third world countries is, with respect, in your head.

Wait, what?! Who said that consoles here were cheaper? I don't know about reias, I'm not brazilian, and I'm not saying that consoles in the third world were cheaper, I said that Microsoft consoles were cheap (not cheaper) in Mexico because they make them here. Cheap for our standards in what we know as "luxury items" anyway. You can get a brand new XBone One with a couple of games an a Gold suscription for $300 here; sure, in the US is cheaper but here is not that expensive considering that a middle class person can earn minimum $600 per month and we use a lot of credit cards so we can afford it. My point is (in all my comments in this thread): we can afford it, but hey, you seem that you know more about my country (at least in your head) so if you think that we can't afford videogames, that's cool, bro, live in your bubble thinking whatever you want is live in other countries, meanwhile I will go to the dark streets to beg for a corn burrito and some tequila ;)

But the whole point of this discussion was not if the console was cheap or not(even though in my opinion it is expensive at least In Brazil were I have the idea of the price and salaries accordingly), the point was if the market was big or not in comparison to other regions. With all due respect, its not a matter if its an item of luxury with an offordable price for your market nor is a matter if the mexican people are poor or not(which in all comments you LOVE to make that comparison, like if I was hurting some kind of honor, even though I never said that, just that they dont have the purchasing power of the bigger gaming markets), its a matter of sheer numbers sold in the market. And no matter how you twist and turn your arguments, Mexican as a stand alone market is not relevant or that significant to the worldwide market. And I must stress that if you only take the mexican market alone. If you want to see arguments why, I think I made some some arguments back when speaking with the user swordmaster.
I dont know more about your country than you. After all, you are mexican and I am not.But all seems to point that I know more about economics than you, and that is basically what this discussion is about.Maybe while you are begging for corn burrito and tequila you can learn some basics of how the economy works =)
