Yes, I rented it at first too. But I'm still playing it a week later...

It sounded like a good concept, but an average reception, which put me off a bit, my this has perked my interest a little, though I do currently have plenty of games to be getting on with
Well, since i've been playing it the graphics as i said are Superb, rent and you'll see. I bet there are no copies left to even rent.

Dark Sector and Viking: Battle for Asgard are both Great games that have gone a little unnoticed!... Get them both! You won't regret it! These games are gems that you really want to have in your collection!

THE NETHERLANDS
Dark Sector > Viking: Battle of Asgard, but the quality of both is questionable.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
Looks to be worth a rent at the very least. I may buy it if it hits the bargain bin.
@ Atkuma -- The quality of DARK SECTOR will surprise most. Graphics are unbelievable,TRUST ME! I'm playing it and the glaive he uses is ingienous. Single player ROCKS!!

I wanted this game for quite a while. Then, X-Play gave it a 2 out of 5. A few more good recommendations, and I may still buy it.

Umm no.
Dark Sector = good looking shallow gears of war rip off
Viking: the battle of asgrad = plain looking but highly engaging, fun and original game
I am pretty sure you didn't play either but have read the IGN review or something and are considering yourself an expert on the matter.
