The crab is meh to me, I dislike the sand castle and I think the pre-evolution of pedobear is cute.

While I love the Water/Fighting type combo due to Keldeo (one of the most underrated Pokémon ever competitively) this Pokémon was specifically made to counter some of the most used Pokémon in VGC, while we don't know how it'll accomplish that, it beeing partially water type would have made it weak against Ferrothorn, given that it's certainly going to be a fast but frail Pokémon it's possible that it can't OHKO Ferrothorn at max HP/Def so they made it only fighting so that Ferrothorn can't OHKO it back after landing a super effective Fighting type move...

Not to be confrontational but can I point out how silly this statement is, as if unusual Pokémon are new and the first gen or two were super creative awesomeness?  I mean, in gen 1 you have two piles of sludge and a floating rock with arms.    And given the typing and lore, Sandyghast and Palosand do make sense.

Only Crabrawler is new, and I don't really like its looks. I understand the black eye because it's a boxer, but it looks misplaced to me.

I absolutely adore the sandcastles still.

When I first saw the crab: "Eh, it's cool I guess, probably my favorite out of these four."
The more I hear about it and look at it: "I love it! This will be on my team for sure!!"

The sandcastles, I'm okay with but I don't really like their design, cool ability tho.
Why does the bear have a tag on its ass? I get it, it's a stuffed animal, but like Banette is literally a doll and it doesn't need a tag on its ass :P

Having seen the other ones already, the only new one to me is the crab one. Well, he looks kinda cool, but not one I love. The sand pokemon though I love. So silly, yet so cool, and surprisingly very dark. I wish they announced a few more, but oh well..

That's the Nintendo defense force for ya, they always believing dislike/hate is unjustified based on falsitys.
