No offense intended to the GameCube Turbo, but Sonic and the Secret Rings didn't look this good. Chatter about a sensible Wii version has been making the rounds since first screens and video sneaked out, but it would appear that Sega is planning to unleash more Sonic love on every viable platform. Retailer GameStop is currently listing Sonic Unleashed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as the Wii and PlayStation 2. All listings are labeled with November 4 ship dates, along with platform appropriate pricing. Thanks for the heads up, Daniel! Sonic Unleashed resembles nothing of a Sonic game. I mean, werewolf Sonic? Back in the 90's, would you have ever known that Sonic would become a werewolf in the future? Judging by the trailers, the environments don't look like true, Sonic environments, the enemies are still humanoid, instead of being animal robots, the music doesn't sound like Sonic music, and the game isn't even fully 3D. Watching the trailers, I don't see a Sonic game. I see Sonic, in a game, but not a Sonic game.

Wii - Pretty obvious, only anti-Nintendo fanboys were in denial, pretty strong denial considering that the initial leak said it was for Wii.

PS2 - Surprising, but not that surprising. If they're goingto put it on all 3 consoles they might as well capitalize off of PS2 as well.

Sheesh, where is your sense of humour? He said this only in reference to how the screenshots seemed to indicate that it'd be available for either PS3, 360 or both.

I share the same worries as naznatips in that hopefully it's a wii-to-ps2 port (or each on their own) and not the opposite. That being said, I guess I'm not really concerned as I doubt I'll play the game at all, but if reviews are good I'd likely rent it for the PS3. I can't imagine a Sonic game with motion controls.

Eh, it was in the leak topic a while back that it was going to be debuted in some European Nintendo magazine and some European 360 magazine. However, the leaker also said it was for all 3 platforms and the file names said 360/PS3/Wii.

Also pearljammer this game is completely based on the motion controlled Sonic and the Secret Rings on the Wii.  If you noticed, the times when the game runs on rails with the camera behind it was the system of movement in SSR. The motion controls worked well in SSR.  The game's issues were it's stupid RPG system where you had to buy better controls and the lack of a backup camera.

Well, I've thought it was already released, but whatever... Waiting for the "official" confirmation! I've liked a lot SSR!
