Reminds me when I tried to beat CoD:WaW (Wii) on hardest difficulty.  I believe I barely progressed through the first level dying numerous times to well placed gernades and perfect shots.  I considered myself pretty damn good at the game (with all the MP I put into the game) but the computer AI seemed to just cheat at being hard.  Made it not fun at all.

Yeah the WaW campaign on the highest difficulty setting is a nearly impossible gauntlet.  Can't tell you how many times I died in the final couple of chapters, you just need to constantly advance on the wave of neverending enemies and pray that you can stay behind cover just long enough to not die.
