I can get NMS for £8 cheap buying physical but I like the idea of being able to access my digital content from any PS4. |
I know what you mean but I still can't buy big released on digital until prices are aligned/cheaper. They mostly aren't and this was the first one that is closer to the RRP of shops, so if it was a case of £40 online or £40 from a shop, then I'd go for £40 online, however, the £15 voucher I have for GAME means I'm buying it in store. :P
Hmm, pie.
I bought it today, installed and updated through remote play, haven't had access to the tv yet.
It looks great even in 720p remote play but not nice to walk around with the low fov with 100-120ms display lag. So, now waiting for the kids to go to bed, wife too probably, doubt she'll want to watch me play. 5 hours left in that case.
i can wait until the game is on sale on steam. im in no rush to buy it. maybe if it were coming to Xbox One i would be more excited but sadly it isnt

I've tried wasting the last 12hrs the best I could, these 20 minutes are taking to long >< |
And it's a go go go!

So I've put 3 hours in, I'm getting used to it but I really like it. There's a bit of grinding at the start but I think the more you play the more rewarding it'll become.
Everything I have right now is shitty and to get a cool ship, weapon and suit you have to work for it. Since it's not handed to you on a plate each upgrade feels special.
It's kinda what I expected and can't wait to get back on it tomorrow. I think I'm going to have to put in about 10 hours before its steps it up a notch.

I played for another couple hours, I agree with SwordFish, it's pretty nice when you get the hang of it. I've fallen victim to the initial grind, luckily it's not a bad one so far. I saw some nice new ships arriving on the first space station plus the second planet I visited has some very lucrative resources, hence I've set my eyes on a bigger ship so I won't get the inventory full message every time I find a crate or something.
Exploring caves is fun although some kind of mapping system would be nice (maybe upgrade later?) Same for a planetary system map (also upgrade?) So far mostly mining, trading, haven't seen much of anything yet. Well I learned 9 words of Gek... Another hour or so of mining should be enough to get a bigger ship, tomorrow.
