Well, MS is investing less into Xbox, so this will become the norm. 1 or 2 conferences, with mainly yearly games announced and a few smaller advertising exclusives.

No point having more if there's nothing really to show, and I'd rather not have them get in the habit of doing what they did last year and reveal a bunch of games that are still a ways off, to the point where the next year (as they did this year) you're just showing off what you announced way too early before.
Generally, I'd love it if publishers all just kept their mouth shut about games until they're like half a year out. Then do whatever you want and blow the lid off it in whatever over the top manner you fancy to get the hype train going, but until then.....just shut up.
I don't like getting hyped for something, then waiting a year or two, then seeing it look totally different to what I imagined, and then by the time it comes out I'm over it and looking forward to the next thing
I'd rather see no conference than a conference which is just a waste of time because they don't have enough to show (cough EA E3 2016 cough cough cough). That goes for all publishers.
No show, is better than a empty one.
Im still amazed Nintendo managed with just Zelda.

Fixed that for you
EA has been on a real roll with shit conferences
One conference is enough. I'm not sure why, but I find gaming conferences boring now. I forced myself to watch E3 this year and didn't even enjoy it.
yeah, 1 seems fine for the amount of exclusive content they have, better have 1 good conference than 2 lackluster ones
Um, why would MS need a ton of new exclusives to have an Xbox conference of their own? The last PSX conference had tons of third party MP game stuff. That said, they have plenty they can show.
They will have a maximum of 2 by the looks of it. Not surprised though because they're not investing in games nearly as much this gen compared to last.
