I geuss we'll just have to wait and see. Im kinda 'shocked' myself when I heard this.

But if Microsoft will not be allowed  per contract by Sony or something to make a bundle with GTAIV then Microsoft just dropped the ball.

 The thing that makes me doubt that there is contract in favor of Sony in this instance is the $50 million. Unless one truly has no business sense, you don't give away that kind of money without some strings attached.

Well perhaps when Microsoft sketched out that 50$ million deal they didnt imagine that Sony would counter with proposing to Rockstar to get the rights to bundle the game exclusively.

Yes. Bundle it. Exclusively.

Mind is blown.

Why would the be like "here is 50 mil to give us exclusive rights for extra content. Now this content blah blah blah. lot of money for content. content content content. You can not allow this content to be downloaded for sony either. content content content.... It's all about the content.

80gb with mgs4, 40gb with gta4, and both near to home release.
do i have to say wut is going to happen?

however theres something about this that i highly doubt, the mgs bundle was confirmed, this wasnt. so i wouldnt get any hopes up.

cool but sales of ps3 in are already good here (even with the 360 price cut) and this well only help. But like DMC4 it might have 2 bundles...

The most important thing now is not even the sales boost IMO. Its the sustained sales after GT5P, GTAIV bundle and MGS4. Seriously, next month will mark mass market adoption time.

Do you all really believe the 360 will get a boost on the level of the PS3? I think by the end of June we will be talking more PS3 vs Wii, and the 360 will be sidelined. And if the PS3 gets a pricecut...holy crap.
