If they're replacing it with a new model it has to be a PS4 Slim. Sony would be insanely stupid to completely replace the original PS4 with the Neo.

I think that is Option 2 or 3. Final Fantasy XV will be the biggest thing for home console in Japan (this year). isn't Tokyo Game Show less than 1-2 weeks before FFXV's launch ? So, there is enought time to announce a new version and ship for the biggest launchs.

I keep forgetting the ps4 is still selling for $350. It's such a beast.  Yeah so $300 slim makes sense.  

 

Also with FF15 being the biggest title the ps4 has received so far surely it's going to get a special bundle.  Much much lesser titles got a bundle so why not this too.  

 

So possible they'll announce a special FF15 and maybe even P5 PS4 in a few weeks?
