Not Apple but Disney. Disney would benefit the most and we would see Nintendo TV shows, theme parks, toys, movies...

While Disney would benefit from it more than Apple would I still don't think it would be a great move for them either. Nintendo are just way too expensive at the moment. Disney would be better off making a deal with Nintendo for those things rather than trying to buy them.

Yeah you're right. At this very moment, Nintendo is expensive, but they can get a good deal once the stock price plummets again .

In the long run, buying them out is cheaper than making a deal. If they only make a deal, they would have to split the profits for everything.

Yeah, but they could also split the costs and therefore the risks.

Perhaps, but Disney knows how to market their products well, especially to kids. It's not very risky for Disney because they've been making toys and entertainment for so long.

Apple would destroy everything that is good about Nintendo...

Not only would that be a terrible idea, since Nintendo works best when they answer to no one, but Apple probably dosent have the money to buy Nintendo. How much that would cost?50 billion?60?70?Probably even more.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

oh yeah, so our favorite franchises turn to cheap bullshit, not long before they saturate and vanish into infinity

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I'm rooting for NX to suceed then I dont have to read some of the drivel that's posted on here regarding the state of Nintendo.

I think that might be a problem though. Disney have shown they are good at marketing and selling new IPs, so if they can continue to make new IPs for much cheaper why go and spend billions on already established IPs. I know they bought Star Wars but the whole of Nintendo would be more expensive than that and include stuff (the hardware part) that isn't likely to be of much interest to them.

But Mario and Nintnedo's other IP's are so famous worldwide, even more than Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck. That would be a great addition to Disney's current line up of characters.

I agree about the hardware though, doubt Disney is interested in that part of Nintendo.

There is one problem: Nintendo is working with Universal right now for some attractions at Univeral Studios Japan.
