Anyone got a replacement for Justin Coleman? New England really needs a second cornerback...badly.

The Patriots' defense is officially the only thing less reliable than Huffington Post polling at this point.

Remind me again why I picked the Chargers?! River's freaking blows every game in the 4th quarter!
Survivor Millennial vs Gen X!!
Oh wow, I thought I was going to lose in fantasy this week. I stopped checking because I was kicking myself for benching Murray. Team turned in a good performance.

Welp, trading Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins right off the bat (as opposed to waiting until the end of the season) looks extremely questionable now. Pats' defense was pure garbage tonight. If it wasn't for the Seahawks blowing two third downs in the red zone early on, New England could have easily had a 40 burger dropped on them. Couldn't do shit against the run, couldn't cover a relatively mediocre group of receivers; it was an awful night all around. Just to put this in perspective, Seattle had nine offensive drives tonight (not counting the kneeldown at the end of the game). They scored on seven of them.
New England has got to find a number two corner of some sort. Justin Coleman and Eric Rowe are a flat out liability. Maybe consistently give them safety help of some sort and leave Butler one on one. He's not amazing at press, but he can't be worse than either of those two. Maybe use Logan Ryan a bit more consistently; he's basically been riding the bench since he got torched in the Super Bowl. Not a great option, but I can't imagine it possibly being worse.
Offense played reasonably well, though I think we genuinely need to get over this obsession with trying to power run the football without setting up the pass first. We keep putting ourselves in too many holes because we run on first or second down and get stuffed, putting us in second or third and long situations. I like Blount, but against fronts like Seattle or Pittsburgh there's no reason we should be doing that until we've softened them up a bit.
Pats should be fine over the long haul; schedule looks markedly softer over the next three weeks than it's been for the past three. Hopefully this'll be a good loss. New England certainly isn't a juggernaut team; they've got real, genuine flaws and unless that defense gets fixed, their playoff aspirations will go as far as their offense can carry them. That hasn't worked out very well in years past.

Yeah, I do agree, Belichick may have outsmarted himself by dumping Collins. Good LBers don't grow on trees, particularly mid-season.
The Raiders are a playoff contender whose offense might be problematic. They just got done dropping 30 on Denver in a hostile environment.

I realize Oakland's a shit place, but I don't think your home stadium, regardless of how crappy the town it's located in is, qualifies as a hostile environment.

Be lucky if I get 8 games right. A decent amount of games that could have gone either way and I didn't see the Packers getting blown out so bad by the Titans.
