Forums - Gaming - Famitsu to reveal Star Ocean 4 details next week...

I think that Star Ocean 4 will be for 360 and PS3. 360 has been doing very well in getting some Japanese RPG's and it will be on PS3 because it is Square Enix duh. My little bro is really excited for Star Ocean 4 because he was obsessed with 3. I on the other hand am excited for Infinite Discovery.

Everyone's arguing over platforms but really they might not even announce one next week.

I just hope they say something soon I know which console I will or won't have to buy.

They have to announce what console the game will be on eventually. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are very good choices because the bulk of the userbases are core gamers and the Star Ocean series is mainly aimed at core gamers

It would suck so bad if they didn't annouce a platform.

 @Deviation59

Your actually talking about Tales of Vesperia

I'm thinking it will go to ps3. MS may have been able to moneyhat some new IPs from SE and tri-Ace (Last Remnant, Infinite Undiscovery), but they won't sacrifice the sales of a well known franchise (and piss off the fanbase in Japan) for the gain of MS.

Well, the last thing Square said about 360 development was not very positive. It was along the lines of them not seeing it as a viable platform and their focus being on the DS, Wii, and PS3... so yeah, I wouldn't get my hopes up for multiplat. Still possible though.

Yeah, it might depend how far along Crystal Tools is at this point too. I don't think they will use the Unreal Engine for many more games, if any.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I could see this multiplatform really easy.

Star ocean 3 did really well in the US compared to japan (2/3 of japan sales i believe)

and since 360 has a good NA foothold i see this having a good multi platform chance.

If not ps3 exclusive.
