Not too keen on the handheld thing but when I get more information than I'll know whether to buy it or not.

I'll buy it whatever it is but I'm wondering how durable that controller will be, I expect the buttons sections to separate from the central screen making the latter fall miserably to the ground...

If it's a handheld I'll buy pretty soon after it comes out. But if it's a home console, I'm going to have to wait and see like with the wii u. Have yet to buy a wii u... not enough games

Edit: nevermind I already read the rumor, I think it's a cool idea but I guess that means that BotW won't look much better on NX than it does on Wii U.

Depends on the price at this point really. For a handheld, the specs is a vast improvement over the 3ds so certainly, it is exciting.

However... If this is all Nintendo is gonna make, than we will be witnessing one of the big three leaving the console space, specially the one that has been making consoles since nearly the beginning of the gaming industry. So I will be saddened in that sense cause I really liked their consoles, they tried doing something new every time. But of course, if it turns out to be true cause this thing really isn't what I would consider to be a console/hybrid at all based on the rumors.

From 5 bars in front of vgc, we will be left with 3 if this turns out to be true (and if Vita doesn't get a sequel which I doubt it will). 2 Consoles, 1 Handheld

Personally I would want a more powerful device, but Nintendo was in a no-win situation with home consoles.

They can't compete with Sony/MS head on unless they have a device on par with the Neo/Scorpio, and really honestly they needed to go even above that because they are the challenger to the status quo, not the status quo (this is why Scorpio is more powerful than PS4 Neo).

This is probably Nintendo's best shot at market success, this device should sell pretty well in Japan at minimum, giving Nintendo good Japanese support.

I hope they make a home dock/supplemental device that allows the system to run games at 1080p.

I don't care for portables, so I'm disappointed... all I wanted is standard console with enough power to be in the same league with Sony/MS., so that 3rd parties would make ports for it.

But my brother will love it, proper portable that you can hook up to TV is his gaming dream come through.

I saw the rumor. What is the likelihood of this true? Seems we're getting riled up over another NX rumor. I dont read every fricken NX rumor so how does it correlate with everything else?
