Forums - General - What's your experience with drugs?

I'd say alcohol is my most commonly used drug. Both in terms of using it to the point of drunkeness and in terms of having just a bottle of beer or glass of wine with dinner.

My second most used drug would be marijuana. I only use it occasionally with friends. I don't like to use it at parties though because it's just too distracting with so much outside stimulus going on at the same time. That said, by and large I do prefer marijuana to alcohol.

After that, it gets pretty slim. I very occasionally enjoy a Cigar (Last one was about a month ago I think, even though I have a humidor full of Cubans).

I think Cigarettes taste like absolute crap and they make me feel queasy after, So I'll never be doing those again. I used to be big on caffeine because of cola, but I barely drink any cola now and I never developed a taste for coffee.

So yes. Social use of alcohol and marijuana. Occasional celebratory use of Cigars, and nothing else.

I'll never forget the bumblebee. At one point, it was hovering in the corner, smoking a cigar and staring at me.

Bizarre shit. My imagination is way too vivid to deal with hallucinogens. Even pot fucks with me. One time I spent an hour staring at a stucco wall because I was watching Pangea form into continents in the stucco. Ugh.

3 foot bumblebees? ok you should probably have gone with a lower dose...

 Drugs, I like them.

But then every once in a while I go to this place a little ways away from here called Biddeford. I've been ranting to everyone about this lately. It ALWAYS depresses me. Everyone there is fucking addicted to something. Beyond that, this place is about as ghetto as you get in maine. Its bizarre because its so unlike anywhere else in this state. It really makes me sad. So sad.

I am open to trying most hallucinogens because they are often non-toxic, are non-addictive, and don't cause some of the physically debilitating effects that some of the harder core street and other recreational drugs cause.

I have tried marijuana, LSD, and salvia. I wouldn't try salvia again, but I would try LSD again. Marijuana is badass.

I've heard a lot about salvia divinorum. Why wouldn't you try it again?

People that are heavy drinkers and/or smoke marijuana habitually seem to be the people that are most likely to survive (just that I've known) into their 40's and even well into their 70's.

Whohooo... things look good for the dude :)

But seriously... I´ve seen people go insane over drugs... and worse... so stay away, alcohol and weed are bad if you overdo them and I´ve never touched anything worse so I wouldn´t know.

Enjoy live but don´t throw it away for a cheap thrill.

None, even alcohol is meh...

Well, maybe just sugar...

I agree that addicts need treatment, but I don't want there to be no prison time for certain drugs. Imagine someone considering trying meth or crack and thinking "Hmmm, well if it does get out of hand and I get busted, the government will take care of me and give me treatment." That's almost an encouragment to try drugs.

I really don't understand this reasoning. Why should using certain drugs be an automatic prison sentence? I understand that some drugs are certainly more serious than other.

But using your reasoning do you think that going to some type of rehab instead of prison for a first-time DUI/DWI is almost an encouragement for people to drive drunk?
