You sure?

As someone who has never played it may I ask why?

I'll tell you why. All you got to do is roam around to catch pokemon, feed them candy to power them up or evolve, and then battle with them in gyms. repeat this until you catch them all.
it was ok at first, but then I had enough of doing the samething.

So about the same thing I expected. I really don't understand why they couldn't release this with at least half the features actual pokemon games have. Or even better, just call it Pokemon Snap, since that's what it seems to be about looking at social media.

Sorry, I refuse to give my google info to Nintendo.
That, and I've never cared for pokemon.

Some of it is a time issue. For example, battles couldn't be like the full games because 6 really strong pokemon vs 4 really strong pokemon would take to long for a game that's for intended to be played while you are out and about. Not that the system they have couldn't use polish.
But a lot of features aren't there cause this is an early version, they intended this to be a platform of sorts. I think this enormous boom caught then off guard. Obviously they expected success, but no one could have predicted we would see it become the biggest craze in gaming of the past few decades :P . Hopefully the new features role out soon, it's a strong foundation. Trading is coming soon plus more functions for gyms and poke stops so we'll see if they can keep the craze going with quick additions.

I wonder if they will release it to all the countries at the same time. Or they might just start with Australia and New Zealand like how they launched it.
Pocky Lover Boy!

Pokemon Go is so boring and unengaging.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
