Roy? And I agree with Paladins being the best, I loved them before I fell in love with archers

Was never fond of Eirika, Ephraim, Marth (to an extent), Chrom and Micaiah (pre-Interesting Plot Details). They felt like really plain characters, though some were competent in combat.

Never played Roy's game, but Elliwood, Hector and Lyn are an awesome trio of Lords.

Those are fighting words there... I started with sacred stones so I'm attached to those 2... but all lords kinda struck me as plain "I do good, cause i'm good." Especially Roy... I think he was the worst with it.

Don't you think Eirika and Epharim preciselly fall into that category of "let's be good because yes", in a more accused way than any other?

Eirika yea... but she was naive so I could forgive her for that. I don't recall Ephraim's personality enough to know how he works and I never did his route before so I'm not too sure about him.

I kind of liked all of them. :) But really, my memory is not clear enough to make a decent analysis. I love there series but it's been quite a while since I have played.

Swordmaster has to be my favorite. Characters like Lyn(who's a variant of Swordmaster), Karel and Lon'qu are just so cool looking when they attack.

Least favorite is probably Warrior like OP. Low skill makes their great attack mostly useless with axes; high HP with poor defense. They also have had pretty awful designs since going 3D.

General/knights just don't go with the way I do my tactics, so I'd choose those.

I've always been a guy who's like the samurai/master of the sword based characters, so naturally the myrmidon/swordmaster was my go-to class, though I would like to try the master of arms as well.

My least favorite are magic based classes. I just... never really liked being a wizard. I'd rather be at the front of battle

Favorite is probably Hero. The way the class is designed just looks really cool to me, and their stats are usually very well balanced. Several of my favorite characters fall into that class as well (Ike, Greil, Selena).

Runner up is Wyvern Lord. It has the high defense of armor classes and the mobility of the horse classes. Magic and archers are a pain, though their high mobility makes them versatile enough to never have to deal with them. Depending on the game on how it calculates damage, they might even be able so survive an arrow or two, which is rarely the case with pegasus units.

Least favorite is almost any Laguz class. They look cool, but they were never viable for me in comparison to beorc units in any of my three playthroughs of FE 9/10. The only ones I really got any use out of were the endgame ones...which I groaned about for the same reason I dislike pre-promos.

The herons were good though.

Is Tharja a class? Then her, for sure  :)

I also really like the mechanist class, they just look really interesting and are decent enough in battle.

I always love my mages!!!! Since they can attack close or 2 spaces enemies! And with the new Ninja class, I don't mind them as well (planning to do a ninja/butler run on FE Fates).

Don't really dislike any but maybe those Animal transforming ones.
