try it first, than elaborate an opinion.

First, I do not like Other M.
Second, your "observation" is most likely biased and do not reflect any actual real statistics for sure. Because I can tell you that I know very little people who likes Other M but on the contrary several ones who are actually looking forward for Metroid: Federation Force (including friends and my kids)

On a side note, this hate toward Metroid: FF is really reminding me of those people who "disliked" Diablo 3 when Blizzard presented for the first time because of the colors/art style behind not "dark" enough to be a "real Diablo" games :) This is really extremist and I see the same pattern with Metroid: FF; the gameplay is not even being challenged; the "kiddy" look seems to be the problem here for some Metroid fans more than anything else.

That's what I said. The game itself doesn't look too terrible, but they're branding it as Metroid when we haven't gotten a single great Metroid game since 2007. They could've just developed Hunters 2, that plotline still needed some work.

Your "friends" and children are as good of sources of real stratistics as mine.  Which would be fourm members who defend Other M and are either "wait and see" with Fed Force or outright want it.  Of course it's biased, I said it's something I've noticed, not what I datamined.

You were talking in general as facts and NO, you are not able to provide any tangible data because you are just biased. There is no correlation (or prove it) between people liking Other M and Federation Force at all other than in your mind. And this is, again, because you are biased... That's my point. I do not even know how you can notice such a thing to start with lol

Any insult you have taken from my post is in your head, I didn't insult you and wasn't intending to.  You decided to be offended and that's fine.  Anyway, do you not realize that your friends and kids are just as if not more biased than my source?  

I never said what I posted was fact.  Again, you are deciding things in your own head and letting them trigger you.  And as far as correlation goes and how I could possibly notice it: members of forums say they like Other M.  Those same members then say they are looking forward to Federation Force.  It's simple, really.

You are just making things up because you dislike both games, nothing personal, and want to put the people who like either of them in the same basket so you feel better about your tastes/choices. This is perfectly normal, again nothing personal, so it should not trigger any response hopefuly.

Shoulda made the whole game free, that way no one can complain!
