So wait, let me get this straight:Making AAA games is too much of a risk nowadays for Konami, but they dont have a problem to(what it seems like) rebuild the whole MGS 3 game for a pachinko version using modern graphics?Oh, fuck you Konami.

Dammit, those graphics look so good... why they dont sell their IPs to someone that cares about the games?Argh.

They didn't rebuild the whole game. They just remade some new scenes.

Still, its a damn pachinko.Seems alot of of work for a damn pachinko. It must be quite expensive to make scenes with that level of fidelity for a damn pachinko.

I should stop saying damn pachinko..... Damn pachinkos.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

So with Kojima productions gone, this is what the series will be known as... dear God.

I really take issue with them using Kojimas work like this. They have a right to do so (lawyers will assure us), but it just because its legal doesn't make it appropriate in the eyes of fans.

Konami owns the MGS franchise. They can do whatever they want with it. Even put it's name on candies. They couldn't care less about what is appropriate in the eyes of fans. They only care about money (as every company) and that slot machine is gonna print a lot of money from them. Can't find the link right now but Konami's slot machines are very popular in Japan.

Everyone know its about money and not about the fans that built made the series popular and a success.  Don't need you to tell us that.   My point was that its a shame from a fans perspective.  I know my viewpoint doesn't mean shit.  I was just expressing it.

I don't know why you reply back to me like that. I was just explaining how these thing work in my opinion. ''Don't need you to tell us that'' is a bit rude and out of place...i think.

I felt that your comment was a 'shut the fuck up and deal with it/your admiration for the serious means shit to the money that could be made' comment.  If I was wrong I appologize.

Its the work of Kojima and other talented developers. It was also funded by probably hundreds of millions of dollars from Konami.

Just remember Kojima created Metal Gear, but he couldnt do it without a company like Konami to fund his ideas. Even now Kojima works with Sony for funding. But I would assume Kojima is in a position to now own his IP.

Well that trailer atleast shows Konami could do some very interesting MGS remakes. That got me in the mood to play MGS3 again.
