I know that SE signed off on having the anime and movie be introductions to FFXV as sort of a lead up for the fans waiting to play the game, so you'd think that there wouldn't be anything ruined or hinted at that could reveal some future spoilers in the game  right?  Well, maybe...but I don't know.  Some of the things that I read (accidentally  >_<)  were pretty foretelling. There are also a few new interesting characters to mention as well which you may not want to look into too much.

I ruined some basic spoilers for myself, although I don't know how it all went down with some of them so I'm lucky in that regard.  However, it is important to mention that FF prides itself in its narrative and plot twists, relying on them more than character development, so if I had to guess I might have ruined a significant portion of the story for all I know.

This is the point where those of us who are looking forward to this game should consider whether or not to  stay off the internet forums and social media.  I was considering starting a month or two to three weeks from release, but now might be a good time.

Since the game hasn't come out, there's no way of knowing how any spoilers in the movie will affect our experience of the game.

This reminds me of when they put all of 13's storyline details in logs instead of the actual, you know, story.

Avoid gfaqs, reddit and neogaf thread for ffxv. Youtube comment section is also a danger area.

The movie is worth the wait. So dont spoil yourself with anything

Also dont pay attention to those so called "leaks". We've had 8 different "leaks" we dont knw which one is real anymore
