Retro Consoles - Give them a wipe

Current/Recent Gen Consoles - Clear fans for dust, then give them a wipe

PC/Laptop - Open and blow out with compressed air every 2-4 weeks

My PC has magnetic filters on the outside. I just wipe over them once a week and that is all there is to it.

I'm removing dust from ventilation slots of my consoles and PC 2-3 times a year. Controllers are being opened and cleaned maybe every 2 years. And I clean the Wii U and 3DS screens every time I use them.

I clean my stuff. My PC. Fairly rare to do the inside. Probably a year to build up. But the forward fans I do every 3 months. Consoles, really depends. When the fans go to full speed more often. I'll do a full disassembly and clean. If the discs fail to read. Older consoles. When the cart connector or carts fail like 5 times in a row, to start properly.

PS3's, 360's all easy to open up to re-tim and to clear out dust, once or twice a year. PC's were done once a month.

My PC, yeah, as needed.

Consoles? Not really. I've never lost one, either.
