Can anyone tell me what Nintendo's best worldwide single hardware week yet was? As in what single week in sales did the nintendo DS and nintendo wii sell the most units put together thus far? and i wont mind if you include GBA sales.
I think it is very likely the week before the Christmas just gone, with weekly hardware sales of 3.730 million combining Wii, DS and GBA.
I very much doubt they had a larger week in the past, in fact no other gaming hardware company will have either.
edit: This is definately the largest hardware week ever, considering the DS broke the PS2s record best week, and the Wii wasn't too far off (I think it was 1.75ish million that PS2 sold in 2002)
The week ending 22nd/23rd of December 2007 is therefore the week you want. The DS sold 2.145 million, and the Wii 1.475 million.
GBA sold 110k and GC also sold, but only about 6k if you want them both added.
