Forums - Microsoft - COD 4 selling like crazy and updated stats mean Xbox retains U.S.A.

I admit i didn't expect that. I mean, it sells like a good game's debut. And it proves how strong established base is MS building in NA. A guy already said that above. People buy the 360 version to play with their friends who already got it. The XBOX Live investment proves to be the most penetrating instrument that microsoft got in its hands.
And more important, it creates a trend for other games and companies to keep raising the quality of their products (Bungie-last maps and Frontlines, I mean, come on, who expected that this underestimated game would be so fun!) and creating more and more games.
Not accidental that GOTY is heading exclusively on 360...

Amazon.com doesnt have it.

Gamefaqs says April 1 for the US though.

 Last time i was on CoD4 on the PS3 we had guys with over 2mil kills, 5300% accuracy, and a K/D ratio of over 80 what do the guys on XBL have

 Yes 5300%, there are also alot of others with over 1000%.

What I´d like to know is why the hell they´re going back to WWII for COD5....maybe,or probably,one of the main reasons behind COD4´s success is the breath of fresh air in not having WWII scenarios yet again.

I also some people that didn't want to buy COD4 because it WASN'T WWII, obviously they turned out buying it after everyone saying how good of a game it was.

 I thought COD5 was being made by a different team, than the one who made COD4. That could be part of the reason they are going back to WWII.maybe?
