Forums - Gaming - History of Videogame Consoles...

This is just some random thing I was doing, and I want to know...

Is this accurate? Sorry for the sucky quality, but I had to resize it. Are the consoles correct?

I used Wikipedia for a source, so I'm not sure how reliable it is.

(Yay! 900 posts!!!!!)

EDIT: I added in a couple of things, hope it's an improvement! :)

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

Guitar Hero 3/ Smash Hits

4th - TurboGrafx-16/PC-Engine, Neo Geo
5th - 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, Amiga CD32

I think virtual boy is considered 5th

Edit: never mind looks good as far a main system or best sellers

I haven't checked the facts yet, but I think the Jaguar + CD was still a part of the 4th gen. Don't quote me, though. And like everyone else said, a ton of consoles are missing. Still looks pretty awesome, though.

Ah the memories

dont forget to add the Wonder swan- 2nd gen of handhelds

Wiki says Jaguar was a fifth gen console. Not sure I agree. The Jaguar came out in 1993. Oh well, who am I to argue with the mighty Wikipedia.

you could just do a time line sort of thing instead of trying to put them into generations, perhaps have a coloured section across the timeline showing when a machine was launched and when it died etc.
