How long til we get to the next part of the cycle? I need to know when to sell my Sony stock...

We aren't going to the next cycle at least for the next 2/3 years. Keep that stock brother.

Thanks mate. Really helpful.

The thing is they don't need to do anything. They can hold a few aces up their sleeve whilst the competition scratches their heads wondering what to do to make an impact.

PS: Their E3 was enough for now lol.

You're not gonna hear Sony say, "HOLY SHIT THE SKY IS FALLING!" when they've had nothing to worry about yet. Are there things they could be doing to improve what they have? Yes. But they're not going to hastily react to everything like MS tends to and try to grab attention to keep Xbox from flatlining in the public eye. The Playstation division is actually making money, so they don't need to be on the offense so much. They have their own things debut to the market soon.

No.

Weak ass thread gets a weak ass reply. Add more substance next time.

Sony didn't really understand how they got there in the first place, so it's too much to ask for that they keep delivering. Whatever that is.

Sorry but sony is not nintendo. Sony didn't pulll a wii magicially out of it's unmentionables like nintendo did. Sony's consoles have a extremely high chance to outsell it's competitors every gen.

Sony have had the best selling console in 3 of the 4 generations they've been a part of, but clearly Sony don't understand how!

What movement and what other competitors that are ahead?

Some people seem to think Sony - and i mean Sony, no other console manufacturer - is obligated to announce a blockbuster at least once a weak.

Hunting Season is done...

So you are complaining about something you can't even define? Because Sony have talked about New HW, New SW and new Experiences... or you are complaining that this week they haven't released anything?

they're just enjoying the win

I wouldn't say that. They're releasing big games this year and just had a E3 where they showed more AAA exclusives than Microsoft studios put out in the last 3 years or so. They have the most exclusives both from 1st and 3rd parties, they have Japan, they've made their console desirable to buy. These are the reasons other consoles don't sell and you're claiming they're resting on their laurels roflmao

Was also wise of them not to show the Neo too early and undermine og PS4 sales. I expect the "announce to launch" window to be only a few weeks.

What are their competitors doing exactly?

-"the greatest line-up in xbox history"

-but they're not exclusives anymore, they're all coming to PC

-Scorpio with 6teraflopz of powa, but only 18 months from now

-meanwhile have this small not so small Xbone S

-Nintendo NX, we dunno what it is but it could be the next big thing! (out of many things)

The age of Sony is done!

Because this lacks substance, it should definitely be locked. However, topic creator, I'll keep it open if you can expand on the idea. Quite 'unbothered' how? What movements of their competitors put Sony in a precarious situation?

I'll visit this place in a little bit to see if things have changed.

Seems like nothing changed or the OP cared to elaborate
