So I don't know how come but my first approach to gaming was 100% cost free to both me and my parents, and that's like for about 4 years, I don't recall who gifted me most of the games I have, but I only know that my friends were SOOOOOO generous. Still my first Nintendo console was a GBA SP, it was in terrible conditions but I couldn't care less as long as it worked and the way it was gifted to me was truly remarcable. Even if I was just 4/5 years old I already understood how the world worked, so I was one of the very few kids who had a girlfriend and we met eachother every day at school and a couple of times a week at my or her house, while at school it was easy to play with other kids we never found anyone that lived close enough to both of us to stay with us except a few rare cases. So since it was only the two of us it wasn't really that fun to play hide and seek or most of the games we knew at the time, but she, beeing the one with the younger parents and living further from the center of the city, already had 2 GBA SP, one was older than the other and was replaced by the second one, so we played them every time we met eachother. Of course, her beeing the girl and the owner of the two magical devices, had to play the newest GBA SP while I had to use the older one, we played countless hours of terrible games and even more of the few good ones (like a Chicken Little game she then gifted me which had some pretty nice Yo-Yo mechanics), after about a year she finally gifted me with the older GBA SP, I accepted the gift with infinite gratitude and still to this day I thank that girl when I meet her (we eventually broke up, she found another kid, she was about 7 yo). And that's the story of how I got myself a Pink GBA SP.
