It's very different from SRW games in a lot of areas.

For one... the robots are usually supposed to be a lot bigger.

Two, there usually isn't freeroaming. (First time ever.)

Three, the gameplay is either some sort of Valkrie Profile type button mashing game or they went with the overkill attacks to the nth degree on this.

That's jsut three to start with.

Also, there appears to be no map during battle, with it beign some weird RPG system.

Yeah... previously i had wondered what was with kyosuke's hair   At best i'd guess it was maybe the future?   Or something.   Alternate dimension?

As someone who's never played the franchise before, this looks really cool hehe. I take it those of you who have been playing it don't like the look?

It's more... imagine you were about to watch a trailer for the next Ace attorney game. Then in all the gameplay vids it looked more like a traditional puzzle game...

Like Tetris or something.  Also nothing in the game other then how the people look is familiar.

It's not that tetris is bad.  You just wonder... why?

I see.  Well, I hope it turns out good (and makes it over here).  Though I'm guessing the licensing for a game like this is extremely difficult and the devs may not think it worth the effort.
