A brand new Pokémon was announced today at the Japan Expo by Junichi Masuda, it's Salandit, the very first Poison/Fire type Pokémon. Thanks to it's ability Corrosion Salandit can badly poison both Poison and Steel types !!

Oooh, that's an interesting concept. I hope it gets competitive, Skairmories are a pain in competitive play, I can never quite counter them.

this is cool and will probably be overused in competitive!! since steel types are overused (Aegislash, Klefki, Heatran almost break the game) and giving the ability to some never used old pokemon would be cool as well

The usage of Salandit's evolution will be determined by it's ability: IF it can also use any other poison move on Steel types (dealing damage) then it's definitely gona be OU, Fire and Poison are respectively the second and third type with the highest number of resistances so it's gona be really good with  

x1/2 Fighting, Poison, Ice, Fire, Steel;

x1/4 Grass Bug Fairy

I wonder if Aegi will drop in OU given the presence of Salandit in the metagame...

What indeed. That seems an ability a plant pokemon would have, not a poison one. And why would it develop that ability? What would be used for?

Also, just imagine this thing on a daycare. The chaos that would ensue...

Just reveal all the new pokemons already. I only care for final evos. :(
